Adrian Rigby

Adrian Rigby was born in Chorley, England in 1962. He demonstrated considerable artistic talent from an early age. Rigby is an internationally recognized, award winning artist. He studied at Blackpool Art College where he learned to paint in oil, acrylic and gouache. Rigby exhibits widely, and has sold paintings to collectors as far as Asia, Europe, America and Australia. His work has sold in such luminous galleries such as Harrod’s and the world famous Tryon gallery, both in London. 

His work has also been featured on Royal Doulton Fine China, two series, highlighting African big game and British songbirds. Many articles have been written about his work including in Tampa Bay Magazine and Lancashire Life. His art has also been juried into the prestigious Southeastern Wildlife Expo, SEWE, in Charleston, S.C. and the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland. Rigby’s work was juried into “Birds In Art” at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wisconsin, they also chose his work for their promotional poster to be displayed around Wassau. 

Adrian Rigby is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
